Hello there, I'm David. If you spot a fellow traveler on deck with a long white beard and a bald head, there is a very good chance it is me enjoying a morning stroll.

As a senior cruise travel professional, firmly in the 65-plus retirement age bracket, my wife and I have spent decades traveling the open seas. I don't look at brochures or corporate marketing materials anymore. Instead, I focus entirely on the real, hands-on details that matter to us as mature travelers.

My absolute specialty is navigating the "Big Three" budget-friendly premium cruise lines: Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, and Princess Cruises. I know exactly how these specific fleets handle, walking, layout, distances, joint comfort, hidden fees, and medical logistics at sea.
